“We had a side of bread with dinner last night and it was amazing. I don’t say that lightly due to our standards of Cole’s Amish grandma’s recipe being the usual. Can’t wait to have avocado toast tomorrow – thank you!”

Shifting homemade bread from special occasion to pantry staple

Hi, I’m Tara! My baking journey kickstarted when I set a goal to stop buying our weekly bread from the grocery store.

I wanted delicious, healthful, real food for everyday eating. Not all the extra stuff you see on labels, nor the too-fancy options you see in typical bakeries. We use simple ingredients, slow methods, and make everything by hand.

From breakfast toast and sandwich loaves to snackable crackers and buns for the cookout, I’m proud to say mission accomplished. Now I’m excited to share the same recipes my family enjoys with you and yours, saving you time without sacrificing quality.
